Dreddfully excited…

The Judge Dredd site is live!

Bopgun have been working with publishers Hachette Partworks to design and build a subscription site for Judge Dredd: The Mega Collection. The collection features special edition hardback books containing the key stories and comics, concept art, and original Dredd content.

Needless to say, it’s been a fun one! And not just because we get to read comics at work – we’ve also been spending a bit more time with Adobe Muse for mockups. Despite our early reservations, we’ve found Muse to be an increasingly useful mockup tool, and now more intuitive to work with. Whilst not quite watertight for finished websites, we’re finding Adobe’s newest iteration of web design software to be a great way of showing website functionality to the client – bridging the inescapable gap between design and development. Our designers are able to show off the site’s parallax scrolling with relatively little effort, can add slideshows and galleries to the design, plus dynamic nav bars. Our static designs look more exciting, and closer to what the client could expect from the final website.

With some top secret new work in the pipeline, we’re excited to be working with Hachette on another title this month.  Stay tuned, and remember to swing by our blog if you want to stay up to date with our marvellous new work…
