Website more than doubles target subscriptions!
Client: Hachette Partworks
Brand: Warhammer 40,000: Imperium
As part of a series of successful major launches for the Warhammer brand Hachette Partworks needed a website to help launch Warhammer 40,000: Imperium-The Official Collection. The website needed to act as the hub for all the marketing: TV advertising, digital and email and appeal to the global, diehard market of Warhammer fans.
Designed & built within 4 weeks we highlighted the fantastical world of Warhammer 40,000 whilst clearly communicating that at the heart of the subscription was the collection of stunning miniatures, which you assemble and paint before taking them to battle on the table top.
As well as showcasing a huge amount of content it was essential that users clearly understood how the collection worked in order to push subscriptions. This was achieved with simple layouts, carousels & infographics as well as quick access to FAQs and a Live Chat function. Finally, to encourage repeat visits we also integrated video Tutorials pulled in from YouTube.
Launched initially in the UK after a hugely successful test, Warhammer 40,000: Imperium achieved phenomenal subscriptions rates and will be subsequently launched in the USA where Hachette are predicting similar success.
How we helped:
Structure and navigation development / Website design and build
increase on target subscriptions
users in the first 6 weeks
"As always, Bopgun took time to understand our brief and the nuances of the audience we were planning to target. The result was a highly effective website with loads of visual impact, as well as clear calls to action for the subscriber. We were delighted with the outcome, and results have further solidified the efficiency of the site."
